My buddy Simon Marquart came over to The Netherlands to ride some bikes and prepare for the 2021 USA BMX Grand Nationals. I just got cleared from the doctor to start riding again after my knee injury, so it was good for both have us to have a training partner!
Name: Simon Marquart
Sponsors: Wiawis, Avian Brand, Renthal, HT Components, Tioga
Mechanic: Rich Townsend, Myself
How do you like the Wiawis bike?
Simon Marquart: I like it a lot. It’s a really well-balanced bike. It provides enough comfort to ride around the track but is stiff enough for a really fast start.
With all the carbon on it, it must feel super light. Where do you see the benefit of having a light racing machine?
I had about a week off after the Word Champs and Niek wanted to come to swiss and ride the WCC track with us. We spent few days in mountain and ride bmx. It was nice to chill with them. Thanks to Niek for coming over and the good time. We have a plan of tourist in Japan after the Test Event in Tokyo so stay tuned for us!!
