Name: Mike Spinner Age: 19 Hometown: Miami FL Sponsors: Mirraco bikes, Monster Energy, Ballpark Franks, Nike shoes, Bell helmets, Maxxis tires, Albes Mailorder and Woodward camp.
Over the last 2 years your life has changed a lot. You have seen a lot of the world already and made some money riding BMX. If you would not have been riding BMX, what do you think you would be doing now? Spinner: Right now I would be in my second year of College, probably trying to go in a more business direction for sure.
Logging in every day is exciting. You check the mail and see if there's something new. At FATBMX we do receive a lot of mails but we wouldn't want it any other way. Not all makes it on the website for various reasons. It might not be interesting enough, it isn't relevant for a BMX site, the mail gets lost in the mailbox or doesn't even show up in the mailbox but gets transfered to the thrash automatically. If you feel you have something worthy and it does not show up on the site that same week, you might want to try to re-send the mail (+photos). We're only human. The following BMX news made it on the site this week. Here is a recap of it all on FAT Friday number 9.
-These two RedBull BMX riders on the right arrived in Mexico for a contest. They thought it was a BMX gig but they were in for a surprise.
Paul's Boutique received new Odyssey products. Here's the skinny: - Director forks in White or Black Euro 159,00 - Race forks in White Euro 125,00 - Race forks in Black Euro 119,95 - Dirt forks in Teal 10mm Euro 125,00 - Dirt forks in Lavendal 14mm Euro 125,00
After 21 issues the Zwanzig Zoll crew have managed to finish an issue on time. For 2008 they are trying to do that 4 more times meaning that this year Zwanzig Zoll will come out with five issues. Not only big plans there, Zwanzig will start working on their website soon to make it better. An idea is to put all old issues of Zwanzig Zoll magazines online like we are doing with the FAT-'zines. It's nothing new, but it saves everyone who has been collecting magazines some space in storage. Issue 22 has the following items:
News, Simpel Session, Maxsomenoise, Small Talk Jimmy LeVan & Mark Webb, Jump the Bum, Battle in da Club, Mellowpark Demo, Photo contest, Bcrossionale, Der Eine und der Kleine, Darkwood Jam, Patrick Gross explains Mexico, Hidden Island.
