Let’s talk about the Empire of Dirt event. You’ve organized jams before but this one is of a whole other level with people coming over from all over the world. Are you ready for it? Kye Forte: I think the event is going to be pretty nuts, at least I hope so, we put a lot of work into it. It has been a year in the planning. It’s going to be different. Everyone’s there, everyone’s having fun, you can’t compare it with anything else, it’s going to be a week where everyone is really going to enjoy themselves. Normally people say they’re having a great time at a contest but half the time they’re not. They’re lying but the Empire of Dirt is going to be really fun.
This week on The Daily Habit on Fuel TV they have non-other than tfish and Ruben Alcantara. Tonight (28 May) it's Catfish's time and Ruben's episode is scheduled for Friday )1 June. Here´s what Fuel TV´s press release had to say about the two:

A few of the United crew are currently on the road, on a 10 day jaunt from Louisville to Little Rock. They are being guided by Leland in the veggie Shitluck wagon, so we imagine the trip will have its fair share of action. The United site has daily updates featuring video clips, and random pictures. Days 1,2 and 3 are up there now (plus a photo of Mark Vos' new ride).
Ten Pack Distribution is proud to welcome Chris Silva of the Toronto ICC crew to the Ten Pack team. Chris will represent Animal, MacNeil and he’ll be wearing Little Devil Clothing. We’re really stoked to have Chris riding for us. He’s one of, if not the best street rider in Canada, as well as an incredible park rider and a really cool guy.
SINZ Racing is ready to have you pretty in pink. SINZ is proud to have added Pink Brake Cables and Pink Brake Pads to the line. The Pink Brake Pads work great on both Chrome and Black rims, while the Teflon lined cable is super smooth and pre stretched. SINZ has 7 different colors of Brake Pads and Cables to choose from, so if you want to highlight your bike, use SINZ.
The Dutch are great in making events clash. There's not much going on all year long but when it's time to get together, you can count on two events on the same date. The opening of the new vert ramp in Maarssenbroek is taking place on 2 June next. Also the jumps at the same spot (Fazantenkamp) received an upgrade. If you feel like riding some vert and/or dirt, meet up in Maarssenbroek on Saturday for the grand opening.

To celebrate its 30th birthday, SE racing (makers of the PK RIPPER) joined forces with DC Shoe CO. The result is a unique limited edition colourway of the PK Ripper bike. Although the BMX history collaboration with DC seems pretty strange, we can't deny that the bike looks bitchin' and the introduction party looked great. It's good to see BMX history getting some credit from different corners.
Dude, where has this story been? It's been on my mind since it happened but for some reason the street/park report never made it on the site. Now we're a few weeks later in life and it will be harder to remember everything that happened. In fact, I'm going to keep this one short. I'll save this one for the videos and magazines to come out. They'll show you what happened. It was nuts though. The crowd was massive and got the best out of each rider. Sometimes it didn't all work out for each one of them but at least they gave all they got. And that made it even better. Mike Spinner got close to a 1080 but Ben Wallace pulled his first ever 360 double downside whip. It didn't stop there as Mark Webb pulled his first ever 360-triple tailwhip! With a couple thousand people on the sidelines you can only imagine what went on in Montpellier at the 11th FISE.
France had 4 riders in the finals (Fouque, Kalkhoff, Charveron and Lauque), England had 4 (Miller, Webb, Wallace and Mark Love - Phil Aller did not start as his trip back home left before the finals started).
