Not thrilled on the fixie stuff in the mag. I've said it before and I'll say it again; fuck the fixies! Just not my thing, that's all. Keep it Zwanzig Zoll.

If you only hit one post this week, make it this one. It tells you a little about what happened in the BMX world and as usual it was quite a bit. Halloween jams, new reality shows, the remaining 2009 BMX events, links to the FAT Favourite lists, the results of the comps, race results, a photo of Frankse at work, BMX insurance, Mirra's comp, and most importantly the MX season has started. Go check, check check.

A national indoor BMX centre will be built alongside Manchester's velodrome, home to Britain's cycling team, after an injection of funding. The North West Development Agency (NWDA) has agreed to put £8m towards the £19m cost of the project. It means work on building the 2,000 seat arena and track, which already has planning permission, can now go ahead.

More than 200 jobs will be based at the site, making British Cycling one of the biggest employers in the area. As well as the arena, the building will include the headquarters of British Cycling and will be 

BMX never seems to stop, or maybe the internet gets us in touch with events that take place week in and week out. For instance the 4th Revolcon contest of this year that took place in Guadelajara, Mexico last weekend. Already on FATBMX today. And with riders like Tobias Wicke, Senad Grosic, Rooftop and Daniel Dhers present it became an international round. 10.000 loud Mexicans in the stands saw the riders shred the park course. Issue # 62 arrived of Soul BMX experience, one of the main BMX publications in France. And yes, the mag is in French so it's hard for me to read the pro interview with Garrett Reynolds (10 pages + cover) and the articles about the Kill The Line dirt comp, the Geneve Jam, the Brian Yeagle interview, the Proper Trio article and also the interviews with Waldemar FATkin and Kiki Granier are in French. The layout has changed but isn't quite on the level of Rebelyell yet. The number of ads don't make it easy to go that way but the mag needs them to survive. For me it's enjoying the pics and work on my French.
