The 2013 UCI BMX World Championships concluded Sunday with the supercross races at Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. The Americans added three medals on Sunday to the four they earned on Saturday. In all, the Americans won four gold medals and three silver medals on Saturday and Sunday.
The Americans dominated the juniors races as
Felicia Stancil (Lake Villa, Ill./GT Bicycles) and
Sean Gaian (Santee, Calif./Factory GT) topped their fields.
Shay Glynn (Norco, Calif./Profile-Monster) earned the silver medal on Sunday, finishing second behind
Stancil in the juniors women's contest.
