The new 07 line up Free Agent World Team has had a busy weekend World-wide with some good results to kick off the new season. -New Australian sensation, Caroline Buchanan, just secured the Mountainbike Bike 4x Australian National Championships last week, only then to hop back on her BMX and take another win at the UCI event in Melbourne this past weekend. Caroline is not only racing BMX for Free Agent, but also competing for KHS in 4x and Downhill and aims to race at both the BMX and Mountainbike Worlds later this summer. Can she medal in all three disciplines, something no one has ever done in the same year? Stay tuned. Our other Free Agent World Team rider from Australia, Nicole Callisto the 05 Junior World Champion, suffered a bad crash at the same event and was unable to carry on racing the rest of the weekend. We hope she makes a speedy recovery.

What do you need to achieve to be crowned a King of the Czech cycling of a year? Not that much... Two World Champion titles, two World Cup titles, ten World Cup wins, two European Champion titles, two Jeep King of the Mountain titles, gold from SEAT 4X Masters, silver from UCI BMX Supercross, final at BMX Worlds and 90% of Olympic qualification ranking points for your country seem to be enough. Michal Prokop is the King of the Czech cycling 2006! Since 1966 Czech Cycling Union officials and selected sports journalists did vote 27 athletes including one queen all presenting traditional disciplines of road or track cycling. Also the cycle cross and cycle-ball already had their multiple kings. Luckily not only for the Czech BMX and fourcross community, we have Michal Prokop, the unique guy breaking through all the limits. And thanks to Michal, after long 41 years of the oldest sports award here in the Czech Republic, first ever fat tire King was finally crowned.
Intense BMX / Socko Energy Factory Team Pro Danny Caluag once again has won the toughest class in BMX racing, AA Pro. For the last 3 races in a row, and the 2nd ABA National event of the 2007 season, Danny has posted up huge wins at the BMX Nationals.
This time it was 4 huge victories, winning AA Pro and Pro Cruiser both days at the ABA Volunteer Nationals in Tennessee. Since joining the team, Danny has posted more wins in the AA pro class in just 3 events than the rest of his entire Pro Career. Look for Danny at this weekend’s NBL National Event in Portro Rico, for the 3rd round of the NBL 2007 Pro Series.

The ABA kicked things off huge this past weekend, as the ABA crew outdid themselves with one of the best race tracks ever built at the Reno Livestock arena for the 2007 Pro Series opener. With 25 of the worlds top AA Pros in attendance, the Silver Dollar Nationals was a great weekend of exciting Pro racing and has set the stage for what should be the best year of AA Pro racing in the ABA's history.
