The JAG BMX Global Championship is 4 events in one, a Concert and Vintage BMX Show, Pro Extravaganza $25,000. Race, Amateur Global Championship, and Old School BMX Racing, all wrapped into one 5 day exciting, action packed, thrill loaded, fun filled, gift giving, and international media filled event. USA Cycling would like to announce that the deadline to register for the UCI Supercross World Cup event in Chula Vista, California, has been extended to September 1. Competition begins with time trial qualifying on Friday, September 17 and round three of the World Cup series on Saturday, September 18 at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista. The Chula Vista event, while part of the 2011 season, is the next-to-last race in the UCI Supercross World Cup series for 2010. The final stop is in Fréjus, France on October 8-9.

After a year filled with BMX successes, USA Cycling is thrilled to maintain its partnership with Intense BMX and to expand on efforts to develop America's extensive pipeline of Bicycle Motocross (BMX) athletes. With a focus on the future, the national governing body will continue to increase its development initiatives, including enhancing the USA Cycling Junior Development Program (JDP) sponsored by Intense BMX. The German Sports University Cologne (Institute for Outdoorsport and Enviroment) are looking for BMX riders who would be interested to participate in a research project for BMX Racing. The intention of the Study is to find out more about the physiological demands of BMX Racing. Therefore investigations and tests will be held on a BMX track as well as in the performance test laboratory’s (in cooperation with SNDC performance diagnostic Center).
