BMX racing, how hard could it be?.. Surely it's not that different to mountain biking. However, it's been a while since Blake has raced on wheels this small, so before the big event he heads to the pump track to get some practice in. Blake Samson gets some much-needed coaching from former British BMX champion John Twitchen. But you'll have to wait until next week to see if any of his training pays off!
When the GT Fueler first hit the market at the end of the '90s it was a frame built strong for the upcoming BMX Dirt scene. When racers were hitting the local trails, the bikes did not hold up. GT Bicycles welcomes Jason Schiers as Managing Director. In his new role, Jason will oversee the strategy that continues GT Bicycles’ current progress, and he will also create the roadmap for the brand’s future vision. An entrepreneur, Jason came into the bicycle business from a machine shop background in the 1990s, where he machined composite tooling for bike and automotive part manufacturers.

The Olympics happen every 4 years. Tokyo had a delay of a year but in a few weeks BMX racing and BMX Park will be part of it. It has been a long road for the BMX-ers who made it there. Some have celebrated their participation already by getting to build up a special ride just for the Olympic Games. In the time leading up to the games we are going to check in with the special rides.
