The Conry bros together with their crew have finished up issue 3 of their free Figuré BMX magazine. They've gathered enough content to bring out a stacked issue. #3 will have a Eurobike report, photo gallery, Vans Kill The Line report, an interview with Matt Roe and Arnaud Wolff and there's a story of the Life Of Joseph Frans by Joe Rich. Drew and Nathan talk about brakes, Furet talks about his shovel and also the Troyens get some coverage. The Animal company make the spotlight and fall products are shown as well. A new BMX magazine has hit the German market: BMX RIDER. The first issue just came out and has Sergio Layos on the cover. I actually read the magazine cover to cover on a plane ride and was impressed by the mag. It's got quality pictures, interesting articles and also a bunch of Bike tests, something you don't see too often in BMX magazines any more. To be honest I expected the new mag to be the opposite of the existing Freedom BMX magazine, but in fact they're pretty close. They're even coming out around the same time every two months so the competition between the two is on. This should only benefit the readers, as both magazines will bring the best pictures, the best interviews, the latest products, and all the latest news.

Nasty makes the cover of the new issue of ART BMX magazine coming out of Paris, France. The photo was taken at the 2012 BMX World's in Germany and we actually saw Nasty ride at a demo in Japan this last Saturday. Nasty might not be the one landing on the podium all the time, but he's out there, he's got fans, and he turns it up whenever he feels like it. He's always leaving an impression either way. Find Nasty's head in the newsstands in France during the months of September and October 2012. What else is in the new issue of ART BMX?

Over here at FATBMX we report about BMX, and sometimes we bring some stuff that we like and believe it makes sense to post it up for a few people out there. When people make a magazine that's mostly about the MTB's, but also has some BMX content, we go with the spur of the moment to decide if it's going to make it on the site or not. Wallride magazine from Spain falls into that category. It would help if a BMX-er made the cover but I have a feeling the new issue has something interesting in it for the BMX-only fans as well. 20 years ago there was a need for a new magazine in the USA. BMX Plus! was around, but not much else. Brad MacDonald took on the challenge and started up the magazine from his bedroom while finishing school along the way. Many BMX magazines have come and gone the last two decades, but RIDEBMX is still cranking out several issues per year. Time for some celebration.
