BMX Park Semifinals wrapped up the third day of action at the Pantech Beach Championships. Scotty Cranmer came out strong in the first heat with a run that couldn't be beat. He landed a backflip tailwhip over the hitching post and a corked out 720 over the step-down for a high score of 92.63. The top 6 finishers will move on to compete in tomorrow's Final.

Jamie Bestwick won his eighth consecutive overall BMX Vert title at the Dew Tour tonight. As the sun set over the ocean at the Pantech Beach Championships, Bestwick came from last place to edge out Vince Byron in the second round of the BMX Vert Finals with a solid last run that included a turndown flair, tailwhip flair and downwhip turndown. Bestwick also landed a seatgrab nacnac, invert 540 and opposite flair. The competitor field was made up of the top six finishers from yesterday’s first round of the final contest.
