It’s with very sadness that we announce 2011 Fieldcontrol will not going to happen. Beside all efforts from our side to get sponsors for the event, some of them just drop out at the end of the negotiations. After that we had no more time to search for more sponsors and just one thing was left to do, reschedule the Fieldcontrol for the next year. 
During X Games 17, held in Los Angeles July 28-31, fans were able to consume original X Games content on more platforms than ever before, and digital content consumption showed continued and significant growth. In addition, 37 million people tuned into television coverage across ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPN on ABC – up six percent from last year (35 million). The event’s successes also included the highest attendance in seven years as well as record usage on 
There was a lot of BMX action going down at the Dew Tour yesterday. The guys started practicing on the new Dirt course, down by the Willamette River, and held Last Chance Qualifiers for Park. It was close, but Ryan Guettler managed to barely edge out Joshua Perry to finish first. Dave Dillewaard came in a close third. Chris Hughes and Alessandro Barbero rounded out the top 5 that will move on to the semi-finals to compete against those who have pre-qualified.
