This summer, the 133 Trails (near Lyon, France) organized a jam and a ton of locals came out to join the good times. Enjoy three and half minutes of highlights from the day. Sadly, 133 Trails suffered flooding a few weeks ago so go show them some love!
Draußen regnet es und das Thermometer kratzt an 5 Grad. Die Trailssaison ist vorbei, und es wird ewig dauern, bis draußen wieder Matsch gegen Staub und Schaufel gegen BMX eingetauscht werden.
Join McShovels and co. as we journey along with him facing his biggest demons. The trouble with building big steep jumps is that you eventually have to hit them... From building to testing, the rollercoaster of emotions that one experiences is like none other in the beautiful world of bmx trails.
Trail rider of the year!

2023 Riding at cattywoods featuring riders from England, France, Germany, New Zealand and beyond.
It could be me but during the Covid-19 times I've seen lots of trails riding happening. Of course riding trails comes with the hard work of building them but in the nature of trails riding, this can be done away from the masses. If 1,5 meter distance needs to be followed, building trails is perfect. 1) You won't have tons of people around to dig and 2) If everyone builds their own set, there's enough distance in between all people at the dirt spot. The freedom to create whatever you feel like is very attractive; you just need a shovel, some water and dirt to create a dream line.
But rain can destroy the dream quickly if the jumps are not covered up when the water comes down with buckets at a time. The Flame Trails have experienced the feat, and do now need some love again in order to make them run smoothly. The Helm Trails at the other side of town are covered up after every session and even though the heavy rain created some extra work, the Helm Trails are already back up and running.
The Mid-week session took place on a sweet summer night. Not too hot, not too windy, and when the sun went down, the condition was perfect. But that moment doesn't last long and the mosquitos also seem to favour that time of the day to look for some blood. Anyway, we shot some pics for you to enjoy. Check @helmtrails on Insta for session days/times. Well worth it.

The Flame Trails in Helmond Brandevoort are calling for a get-together on Sunday 9 April. If you've always wanted to ride some dirt but never picked a day to actually do it, this is your chance. The dirt spot in Brandevoort has lots of rollers, and a line with some small doubles that take you around a full lap without pedaling once. For the little kids, or those who don't want to roll down the container for the first time, a little kids track is right there where you can warm up or get the skills down for the real deal. Lots of transfer lines are possible so even the most skilled BMX racer will find a challenge at the Flame Trails.
At 13:00hr the session will start. Around 17:00hr the session is over. No big deal if you're late as there's no real program. We'll make sure the spot is in good shape on April 9th for y'all to enjoy. Spread the word, tell your friends, load up that car with bikes. Helmond-Brandevoort Train station is a 5 minute pedal away if you want to max out that NS card on Sunday. Location: Sportpark Brandevoort, Kaldersedijk, Helmond, NL.
For those want to have a session prior, every Tuesday from 18:30hr - 20:00hr it's time to ride together and work on the jumps. Everyone welcome.
