After two years of collecting potential host city data and retailer, manufacturer and industry partner feedback, Interbike management today announced the trade show will remain in Las Vegas, and that they are currently finalizing an agreement with the Sands Expo and Convention Center to host the industry's show for a minimum of three more years, beginning with the 2010 show.

"The decision to keep the Interbike show in Vegas comes after years of research and communication with our retailer attendees, exhibiting manufacturers and important industry partners," said Lance Camisasca, Interbike's industry consultant.

"The data and communication we have collected, along with industry recommendations from organizations like the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) and Bikes Belong, confirm our decision to keep the show in Las Vegas." 

Cycling Australia named the 5 BMX cyclists it intends to nominate to the Australian Olympic Committee for selection in the Australian team for the 2008 Olympic Games to contest the BMX cycling event in Beijing.

BAWLS BMX Pro Matt “Ruckus” Pohlkamp turned up the BOUNCE in a HUGE way on one of the most challenging tracks out there– the NBL Stars N’ Stripes Nationals at South Park BMX – for his first NBL Elite Series win of the year! Matt is pumped for this big win, which puts him in the run for a top spot in the NBL Elite rankings!
“Pittsburgh is one of the best races of the year, FAST downhill track filled with a lot of big jumps…one race that I've always wanted to win,” Matt commented. 

Check out this picture of Ronnie Surridge and Scotty Cranmer. It's a photo on a stretched canvas and hangs above the fireplace at Scotty's house, where Ronnie is the new house guest/ maid. It cost a whole $1800 ( of Scotty's money, obviously). It's a pin up for the girls. Posters available soon.

When you're asked to come over for a RedBull event you should just say yes. Not only is the riding up to par because of the great pros they're inviting, the party life is taken care of too. The RedBull Bikenight in Italy was not any different. On the night of arrival Captain Tobias Wicke invited everyone on board of his ship as he knew where to go after a little ride the previous year. The city of Trieste is very interesting too and we managed to have a great time during the day and also at night. The party camera batteries died on the first night and we did not bring the charger but some riders contributed these photos:

The “Dew Underground” television show combines in-studio segments featuring some of the biggest names on the AST Dew Tour like pro skater Paul Rodriguez, with pieces produced in each tour city. “Dew Underground: Baltimore” segments will include local bands such as Death Set, The Traumas, Evan Bliss & The Welchers, Things That Fly, and Outreach.
