We have already brought you several updates on the first stop of the 2008 Dew Tour that took place in Baltimore last weekend. Today we can bring you a photo gallery courtesy of Sean Hargraves who sent in park and dirt photos of Seth Klinger, Alistair Whiton, Morgan Wade, Dan Sieg, Allan Cooke, Anthony Napolitan, Gary Young, Alessandro Barbero, and Dennis Enarson. Not too many people have heard about the RedBull Bike Night in Italy. It basically is a BMX with MTB combo, the only way RedBull Italy could justify an event of this size in their country. So what do you do? Stay home because it feels weird doing an event with mountain bikers, or go anyway and make the best out of it. Last year's event was not a big success. It just did not work so the format was changed with a BMX only qualifying event and a separate MTB only qualifying round. 
The 1st canadian concrete jam of the year was our best and biggest one to date. the largest am class, the largest and heaviest pro class, and the youngest rippers threw down at this north vancouver park on sunday the 22nd. The top 5 for am was probably the hardest to judge due to the sheer amount of entries and talent, but the judges did their jobs well (the judges included pro riders sam lowe and james steele) and narrowed it down to the top 5: 5th Dustin Dobson

The 13 and under class was amazing with Anthony Messere riding as good as any of the top 5 ams, and at only 12 years old! way to go Anthony!
Too much wind last night so Bike Night turned into Bike Afternoon. At least for qualifying. Finals tonight and here are the results. I believe the top 6 made it in. Spot 7-9 have another chance tonight to make top 8 and the rest is out of the competition. Axel Juergens messed up his wrist last night so he did not ride. Arthur Dietrich rode injured (wrist too) and went for the craziest transfer that did not work out. He's okay though. Enough. The American Bicycle Association hosted the Dixie Nationals this past weekend, June 20-22, in Powder Springs, GA. The Cobb County BMX Facility is main stay on the ABA BMX tour and has a long standing history with the racers and fans alike.This year the return of the ABA BMX PRO Series event to Cobb County BMX and the racing at the Dixieland National event was real barn burner. The Cobb County BMX crew really stepped it up and had the facility in tip top shape and ready to race. This was the sixth PRO Series event of the season and the PRO Riders were excited to head down south for good ol' southern hospitality. With the 2008 Olympic debut for BMX racing coming up quick, and the first USA BMX Team being chosen, (BIG CONGRATS go out to Kyle Bennett, Mikey Day, "DR" Donny Robinson, and Jill Kintner for being the first ever BMX athletes to represent USA in the 2008 Olympics!) the buzz, the hype, and the media are all around. Many of the sports top athletes from around the world were on hand to take a shot at getting some much needed points towards the ABA BMX titles.
T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds combine it again: actions sports and festival fever at one event! Tell your mobile (calendar) to remind you about the Summer Session going down on Sunday, 24th August. Anti-Flag, one of the US' most successful punk exports will kick your ass with a little help from Pennywise and Sweden's rock headliner Mando Diao. The whole thing will happen at the Wasserski Arena Pinneberg/Hamburg. Super rookies like Harry Main from Great Britain and Ondra Slez from the Czech Republic will enter the BMX miniramp contest. BMXers can qualify at the German Open BMX Miniramp Contest in Berlin, 1st-3rd August. It's official! Anti-Flag will bet the 3rd audiovisual highlight at the Summer Session. The four musicians from Pittsburgh, known for their songs that are fueled by political topics, will sing & deliver their new album "The Bright Lights Of America" straight into the faces and ears of thousands of grateful fans. Anti-Flag have been touring since 1993 and shared their spectacular live performances with the ones
