Following on from the successful launch of the Vans Summer Sessions in 2007, the six stop tour is back this year to entertain you over the coming months at key action sport and music festivals. It consists of a combination of skate vert comps, BMX and Skate mini-ramp sessions as well as the VANS Rococo Wakeboard Rail Tour which all come together to create a not to be missed experience. Featuring top UK and European athletes, you can check out all the action from the Vans Team at the following events:

Description: The International Cycling Union (UCI) has given the National Olympic Committees (NOC) confirmation of the number of places each of them has obtained for the BMX events at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. According to criterion 1 (UCI ranking by nation) which was finalized on June 1st 2008, and criterion 2 (2008 UCI BMX World Championships), 17 nations in the Elite Men category and 11 nations in the Elite Women category will be represented at the Beijing Olympic Games.

A total of 45 places have been awarded: 30 Elite Men and 15 Elite Women.

The UCI is very pleased with the universal participation, demonstrated by the qualification of several countries from the American and African continents.

Mike Groff took the title in the BMX park contest this weekend at the Free Flow Tour’s Jackson, N.J. stop, becoming a winner on the Tour’s 2008 season. Groff, 19, won the BMX park competition on Sunday, June 8. “Even though it was ridiculously hot, all of the kids put a lot of effort into the Free Flow Tour competition,” Katie Munn, apparel manager of the Incline Club, said following the weekend’s events. “Everyone put their best foot forward despite the heat. The riding was really impressive, both from the locals and from everyone who came out. With the bands and the giveaways and the riding, the Free Flow Tour really had a positive vibe, and we’re excited to see how our riders compete in the finals.”

The next match of the Dutch team will be played tonight at 20:45hr against the French. It is good to see that more companies have got our back. The Canadians obviously are not in the European football championships but they do make some sweet orange parts. The bronze parts are not good enough for us though. We'll call up Super G for some Gold 43 stuff when we win the cup.
