2017 saw a lot of progressive bike riding and it seems like now more than ever, the notion of what is possible on a BMX is getting pushed further and further. Both the technical and gnarly aspects of tricks are getting completely ridiculous and this year saw a ton of innovation. Here is our list (in no particular order) of what we found to be the most progressive tricks done in the past year (2017).

TV show featuring racing at Fremont BMX track and a freestyle show by the Nor Cal Trick Team. Features racers Jason Jensen and Greg Liggins with a brief appearance by a 17 year old Brian Patterson. Freestyle riders featured are Hugo Gonzalez, Bill Manfroy, John Manfroy, Bob Gray, Dan Murray and Pete Reeves. At this time, the Nor Cal Trick Team was sponsored by MCS which is what Hugo was riding on his BMX Action cover shot.

For the last eight months the Late Night Boys have been scavenging the streets for new things to ride. From countless dusk til dawn sessions to injuries left and right there is no stopping these guys from having a good time and going on adventures with their bikes.
Since there are only a few days left at before my skatepark closes down forever the boys and I are trying to get in as many good moments and fun times as we possibly can! We got the BMX bikes and had an amazing night riding together and we filmed some awesome tricks!
