Starting out riding bmx and rolling up to a skatepark can be extremely intimidating. Chances are there is a pre fab skatepark with a smaller spine close by to most people starting out and while it might look extremely scary, a small spine is one of the easiest scary obstacles to tackle. This video covers the basic approach and prerequisites to jumping a spine as well as shows examples of each.
