The new issue of DIG dropped on the doormap earlier this week. It left a big noise when it fell on the ground. Issue # 62 is heavy and no, it doesn't have a 48 page bicycle catalog in the middle. Mike Aitken is feature in this issue and we're okay with that. He's got the cover, the TOC, a 14 page interview and 2 pages where they're giving away his signature frame, parts and clothing. Anthony is 19 years old and hails from Liverpool, England. Watkinson has made some big moves in 2007 and is looking to take that momentum into 2008. His incredible style and wild tricks like inverts to tailwhips make his riding so enjoyable to watch. Anthony plans on hitting the AST Dew Tour circuit in addition to most of the European contests this year. Watkinson will be attending the first big contest of the year- Simpel Session in Tallinn, Estonia on January 25th-27th.

On 16 February 2008 the RIDE IT winterjam will take place in The Cinema Studio Of Riga (Latvia). A new park will be built and there will be BMX, Sk8board, and MTB competitions, BMX flatland jam, Snow and Ski jam. The Greater Columbus Convention Center was packed with thousands of BMX fans and spectators and it was even more filled with the buzz of one of the greatest NBL National events. The Christmas Classic and President’s Cup are always alive with anticipation and excitement and this year was no exception. With the combination of these two events and the addition of the UCI Continental races, race fans were supplied with the ultimate dose of race action to cure their cabin fever.

Race action commenced with Thursday’s President’s Cup, over 30 states battled for the ultimate title. Ohio had a lot to prove as last year’s Cup winners, but Florida wasn’t going to give up with out a fight. However, Michigan surprised everyone with a solid day of racing, proving to all that they were a force to be reckoned with.
