Scotty Cranmer

Scotty has been testing his new Sheriff frame and he really likes it. 5.2 lbs, Internal, mid bb, tiny drop outs, etc. The rest of the details about it are in the product pages of the website, it will hopefully be available in February. Scotty just came out to California to film the last part of his section for the upcoming Mirra video, not sure the name of it but it is filmed by Brian Purdy and has section from at least Mirra, Aitkin, Harrington, Guettler and Beringer.

New frames

Sector Aluminum frames got a major change for 2006. They are on the way and will be ready to ship by mid January, if everything goes right you may see some at the ABA opener in Reno, NV. Paulie has been on his Sector XL and Sector 24 for the last few months and they are right on. They come in Black and Paulie Pink, the Paulie Pinks are already sold out in some sizes so get them quick.

Like I said before Scotty's Sheriff frame will hopefully make it by February. Felt is actually making the new chromoly frames in 3 versions.

VANS bmX-Mas Luncheon with In-N-Out truck!!

It's about X-mas and companies are throwing parties and give out presents to their employees. At Vans they got a Ragga band and ordered a truck load of In-N-Out Burger food. Wow, how good it this?!
Here's what Rob-O ordered:
"A Double-Double with Fries, Diet Coke and a Strawberry shake please? and a cheeseburger for Fatty."
In-n-Out worker: "No Fries, just chips."
"Whatever bro, I'll take it and send the bill to Santa! Thanks"

StokeBros Matt Pingel has a tough life

Matt Pingel has been around since day one. The tall German has been stressing a lot lately as you can tell by the pictures that he sent. His love for BMX is still there and he has been riding flatland a bit in a youth centre where he can ride indoors two days a week. Matt is looking forward to his new bike and the next flatland competition. 2020 BMX magazine December 2005

Over in Australia 2020 magazine just came out with their 19th issue. On the cover we've got Corey Bohan doing a nosedive 360, shot at a recent dirt contest in Australia. The issue is packed with Australian riding with articles such as News and shit, State of the Nation, Reformist, a Brad Granthem interview, the RedBull dirt Jam and The Art of Sleeping on a Toilet (aka the Eastern Bikes Oz road trip). Down Under they're also riding pools and page 52/53 are devoted to them. Ride The Wind takes you from Düsseldorf to the Brooklyn banks. There were flames at the Five Dock Jam V2. We need more flames! 2020 doesn't mess around, next page, next jam: Tres Diablos. They must be jammin' in Oz. Next up: The Emancipate & Strawberry Slaughterhouse Halloween Jam at Dulwich Hill skate park followed by some Backyard Jam coverage and the DNA Memorial jam. Josh Cole gets a BIO and so does 19 years old Jacob Burgess and Kevin "Keefs" Neil.

BUBBA HARRIS AND REDLINE WILL BE A WINNING COMBO UP TO 2008

For the fourth time in his BMX career with FACTORY REDLINE, BUBBA HARRIS has signed the dotted line. This years’ contract was a bit different though; as it teams up the current 2-time ABA No.1 Pro and UCi World Champ with Redline for the next three years, and encompasses new clauses that cover Olympic medal and Olympic coverage contingencies … something never before written in to any BMX pro sponsorship. Also, for the first time in his pro career, his Redline agreement includes an NBL title contingency.

Kelvin Batey joins Intense BMX World Team.

Intense BMX is proud to announce the addition of Kelvin Batey to the 2006 World Team. Kelvin will join Jamie Staff and Michael Robinson on the Intense BMX World Team. In 2006, Kelvin will be competing in the UK National Series, the UCI European Championships series, and at the World Championships in Brazil. Kelvin has already been selected by the Great Brittan Racing squad as one of the riders whom have been brought into the Olympic training program and will train and travel with the staff from the GBR training squad.

After years with One Bicycles, Kelvin Batey has left to join forces with Intense BMX. It was a tough decision for him to leave his long time sponsor, but Kelvin was enticed by the direction of Intense BMX and how far they have come in just a year and a half.

Spy shots of Bodo's prototype frame

DIG BMX Magazine issue 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the DIG crew for reaching issue 50. Here's some info from the DIG posse on the new mag.

Issue 50. That's right, we finally made it! Most of us here at the magazine never thought we'd get this far, but after many twists, turns and bumps in the proverbial road, we've finally arrived. I would love to say that we spent our time patting ourselves on the back and saying, "Good job" to each other, but we really just tried to put together an issue that showed how much we've grown as a magazine. We've highlighted some of our earlier days, but we've also made it a point to show what's in store for the future of the magazine. There's new paper, new layouts and new sections, plus a big ole poster displaying the past 50 covers of Dig BMX Magazine. Basically, we're striving to push ahead with Dig, and issue 50 is the benchmark for the future. If you're curious about what's inside, here's a quick rundown....
