WOODWARD TAHOE GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION SET FOR SATURDAY, JUNE 9 AT BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT

Woodward Tahoe, located at Boreal Mountain Resort, will host a grand opening celebration on Saturday, June 9 for professional and amateur athletes to skate and ride the newest action sports training facility on the west coast. Top athletes stopping by to check out the massive new compound will include freeskier Tanner Hall, BMX rider Ryan Nyquist skateboarder Curren Caples and snowboarder Chas Guldemond, who will be part of the pro demos, open skate 
The Shorebreak hotel was a good move. Friendly people, killer location and stylish place. We didn’t manage to get out of there early but it didn’t matter, it was a holiday and stressing out wasn’t on the program. We drove over to Vans without grabbing a bite to eat. It was 11:45hr when we go there and someone must be getting ready for some lunch. Meeting up with Mike de Wit is always good. He was busy so he skipped lunch but showed us the new bowl that they had been working on at the Vans HQ’s. We had a chat with Sean Methven who took us out for lunch at Togo’s. We talked business, so it counted. 
Bike Hall 2012 was an incredible step for their contest, as a massive array of riders from all around the world showed up to ride the enormous course for the rowdy Trutnov fans. X-games gold medalist Daniel Dhers killed the course, and finished off the weekend with a 360 double tail whip on a transfer which he had to come from outside the arena to get speed for. 17 year old Daniel Sandoval also made it out to Trutnov, and pulled several front-flairs along with a 720 tail whip for a second place finish. Czech Republic's own Ondra Slez and Michael Beran also
