1.  WESLEY HARK—WELCOME TO THE TEAM! Wesley, 20 yearsold, is a park/dirt shredder from Stallion Springs, CA, and just finished riding on the 2hip LIMO TOUR in the coming 2hip video and an upcoming RIDE mag.

Wesley's a shredder that you will DEFINITELY be seeing more of in the future...INCLUDING...he will be riding the 2hip quarter and box in the USA SUMMER TOUR, and will have a part in the next 2hip video, 'CLUB 2HIP'...!....
 
2.  THE 2HIP USA SUMMER SHOW TOUR!
TEAM 2hip riders will be performing at selected shops across USA this Summer! The show is free to all, and will feature some SERIOUS SHREDDING by the 2hip team riders ripping the 2hip portable 16' wide quarter and 12' wide box at a shop NEAR YOU...!

The yanks have been a strong force of BMX over the years but at the Papendal World Cup race their best finish in the boys and the girls class combined was a sixth place of Arielle Martin. We shot over some questions about the track to Arielle and here's what she replied.

What did you hear about the track before you made it to Papendal?
Arielle: Heard it was technical and long, rumors were floating that girls were scared which actually made me more excited to ride it ;);)

Did you try to find videos of it to see what it was like before you went to Holland?
Arielle: Normally I don't get into that stuff, but I was sick of hearing about how crazy the track was and finally took a peek at the video the Dutch team released the week before the race. My opinion was they were trying to over dramatize it to scare the comp saying stuff like 45second laps. It just seemed a little played out, I wasn't scared. 

Australian Khalen Young came to the next round of the Supercross season as a podium finisher in South Africa. To keep the momentum going the Haro rider had to deal with a track that had people talking before making it over to Holland to see it for themselves. After the race we asked Khalen about his view on the gnardeth track.

What did you hear about the track before you made it to Papendal?
Khalen: I had only heard that it was meant to be pretty close to the real deal in London. Then a couple weeks before we left we had heard that the Dutch had to change a few things on the course because it was a bit too gnardeth.

Did you try to find videos of it to see what it was like before you went to Holland?
Khalen: There really wasn't that much footage online that showed a full lap of the track. The only decent video we saw was the little edit Sander threw up a couple weeks back. 

Baltic Games, taking place in Gdansk, Poland for the fourth year in a row, is growing into a world class event. This year the contest is going to be the biggest yet. The park project looks amazing and on top of the starting list are the biggest names of the world BMX scene. Drew Bezanson is going to extend his stay in Europe and after the BMX Masters in Cologne he will head to Gdansk to take part in the Baltic Games contest. However it is not only Drew who included the Polish contest in his starting schedule. A couple of his friends from the Red Bull team will also show up in Gdansk. Among them are Tobi Wicke and Anton Evstefiev. Germany will be strongly represented in the contest as the Carhartt crew apart from Tobi will have Paddy Gross and Markus Baumann participating. Also Bjorn “Bommel” Mager confirmed his arrival to Gdansk. Brits are sending a strong gang to shred the “Baltic Games Arena” including BG regulars Martyn Cooper and Scott Hamlin joined by a few new faces with a superstylish ripper Tom Justice. And the registration hasn’t really started for good yet, so prepare yourselves for some serious BMX action just by the Baltic sea.
