Amanda Carr is a regular on the World Cup BMX Supercross scene. She made it over to The Netherlands too and was impressed by the Papendal Olympic training facility. Compared to the OTC in the USA, there's a lot of green on the compound in Arnhem but the reason she was over was the BMX race. The track she saw was big, and gnarly. Here's her reaction on the place.What did you hear about the track before you made it to Papendal?
Amanda: I saw some pictures and videos of it online. It definitely looked very challenging for the men and women.
Did you try to find videos of it to see what it was like before you went to Holland?
Amanda: My Coach Greg Romero and I looked at some videos.
When you arrived at the track, what was your first opinion?
Amanda: The training center is gorgeous, the track looked big and I was intrigued by the starting hill and the way the gate lined up with the mens/womens first straight.
