ASA Entertainment (ASA), the leader in action sports event production, is excited to announce that with the launch of their 2009 ASA High School Tour it will celebrate 10 years of support for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. Since 2000, ASA has traveled the country visiting high schools with a mobile action sports tour, featuring top skateboarding, BMX and inline skating pros performing unimaginable tricks on a portable half-pipe during on campus assemblies, while disseminating an important anti-tobacco cause message through announcements, trivia questions, brochures and attention grabbing performances. The riders and Tour staff educate students about the dangers of tobacco use, the risks associated with second-hand smoke and ways to combat the pressure to start smoking. In 2009 the ASA High School Tour will reach its 1,000,000th student with this Tour and its critical message.
“We are so pleased to make such a positive impact on students throughout the country with this tour”, said
