When Steve Swope came up with the idea to have an Old School reunion during the Nora Cup party in Las Vegas last year he thought that he could maybe get 20-30 riders together. As of today there are over 100 confirmed attendees and counting. The weekend at Woodward West will be epic with this many riders around. Mongoose today announced the addition of street riders JJ Palmere and Miles Rogoish to its 2009 Mongoose BMX Team. Palmere and Roguish join veteran Mongoose shredder and 2008 Dew Cup winner Cam White who will continue to rock the 'Goose in '09. JJ Palmere hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and brings a new look to Mongoose. His fun loving style varies from animal patterns and tight pants to leather jackets and chains. These blueprints show a prototype street fork we're working on for summer 2009 introduction. Dubbed the Pickle Fork, our new fork is engineered for street and ramps. That means you can run a peg. Heck, you can run two pegs. Like so many high-tech frames now available, the dropouts on the Pickle Fork are CNC'ed from 7mm thick 4130 chromoly. All unnecessary metal has been relieved from the dropout to reduce weight, and the edges are faceted to give the fork a distinctive appearance.
