The biggest news this week that BMX Freestyle is part of the 2012 Olympic Games has not been confirmed. Yes, there are plans and yes an application was sent to the IOC but no, it has not been added to the London Games yet. Until we hear something official from either the IOC/UCI/IBMXFF, we'll leave this matter untouched before misconceptions are made. Not everything you can read on the internet is true.-We received the latest issue of BMX WORLD this week which is actually all about the Olympics in Beijing. BMX racing was introduced as a new sport and the magazine has the inside scoop, interviews with the medal winners, some history, the track etc. It's the complete package, one issue all about a historical race brought to you by BMX World. A collector's edition for those who were involved.
Sam Foakes designed a new flatland frame for Zion Bikes and they just received the prototypes in the colors that Sam picked. The frames now need to be tested. As a challenge Zion made these frames with three different wall thicknesses. The testing at Sam's new indoor place in Manchester will show which one holds up best
