An easy excuse for riders to not ride flatland is to say the don't have brakes or pegs on their bikes. For Chad Johnston that is not a reason to stop trying. We'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. Time flies when you're having fun and 2007 went by quick. Bringing party paparazzi photos is kinda lame. Things can go wild and the best photos are not always the ones when you walk in the door of the club looking all fresh. Bike checks of pro riders can attract a couple of thousand views. You can compare their parts with yours and if it works for the pros, it should work for you, right? What companies do the pros support? What stickers do they run on their bikes? Do they have any special modifications that you can copy for your ride? What's their latest paint job? Newly anointed SNAFU team member, pro BMXer Brad Simms will be on Fuel TV next week to tell us where he plans to take his riding in 2008. The people at Federal have been pushing the brand a lot in 2007. The team has done some serious trips that were filmed for web viewing which gave their server some serious headaches. Their 2008 website has just been launched and it looks awesome. Make sure you take some time to visit the Federal site and read the rider bios, check the videos, learn about their products, see where your nearest distributor is, check the FAQ list, the site has it all.
