Mongoose Bikes today announced it will head back to Woodward West in Tehachapi, California, for the fourth annual Mongoose Jam. After two years at Camp Woodward in Woodward, Pennsylvania, the brand has decided to bring the event back to where it all began. On August 5th through 7th, twenty-five pros and five amateurs will compete over a three-day period, pushing themselves to new skill levels in order to keep progressing the sport of BMX.
Mongoose riders Greg Illingworth, Steve McCann, Kevin Peraza, Paul Ryan, and Ben Wallace will each captain one of five teams at the BMX-only event. Each captain will invite four pro BMX athletes to join their teams. They will also draft one amateur from among the Woodward West campers during the Amateur Contest, the first contest to take place at the Jam.
The athletes will compete for a piece of a $50,000 prize purse as well as individual win bonuses. Teams will earn points according to their placement after each contest – dirt, park, and street.
On July 5th the WETHEPEOPLE team will be in Cologne, Germany and getting ready to hit the roads and autobahns for a week visiting BMX shops every single day! Starting from the WTP base in Cologne we will be driving to Bremen, Hannover, Berlin, Stuttgart, and Frankfurt. Our crew consists of Latvian PRO Ed Zunda, Canadian PRO Dillon Lloyd and English PRO Pete Sawyer. Along for the wild ride are German WTP AM’s Mo Nussbaumer and Dima Prykhodko. Expect every stop to include freebies, giveaways, stickers, and as its Germany there should be plenty of BBQ’s and beers, oh and good times, that’s a guarantee.

DEW TOUR CHICAGO KICKS OFF SATURDAY JUNE 20TH AT GRANT PARK SKATE PLAZA, FREE TO PUBLIC
The Dew Tour kicks off the 2015 season this weekend by bringing the world's best skateboard and BMX athletes to Chicago, Ill., for two days of competition, June 20-21. NBC Sports Group will present four hours of coverage on NBC and more than 10 hours across NBC Sports Live Extra and DewTour.com. Coverage begins Saturday June 20 at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
Saturday night at Park West ( 322 West Armitage, Chicago, IL 60614) hip hop mc Logic will headline a night of music presented by the Dew Tour. The Dew Tour returns to Chicago after a five-year hiatus, and will feature the successful streetstyle competition created by the Dew Tour three years ago. The event will take place at Grant Park Skate Plaza, and will include BMX street and streetstyle competitions.
The Dew Tour’s return to Chicago will be a celebration of the summer opening of the new Grant Park Skate Plaza. As part of the celebration, the Dew Tour will work with the Chicago Park District and Grant Park Conservancy to make improvements to the park.

This year during E-Moves 040BMXPARK will organize the Giving Back jam and have a chill jam on Friday the 5th of June from 18:00-22:30. The jam will start off with a free BBQ and after that you can win some cash or goodies thanks to Vans!
