Red Bull BMX seemed to happen on the regular years ago. Not so much anymore, unfortunately because when Red Bull puts something on, you know it's going to be a good time. Drew Bezanson and Daniel Wedemeijer were part of the Red Bull Framed Reaction held in Amsterdam back in 2013. Both riders are now the team leaders for Red Bull Uncontained which will happen on Saturday 30 November next.
Uncontained promises to be big. With stacked containers and a roll-in of 14 meters, expect the riders to take it to the sky in De Papierfabriek in Nijmegen. The Team competition Drew vs Daniel will bring some top riders to The Netherlands next week. Drew's team has a bunch of party animals in it. Cory Walsh,
Recognized for legendary style and performance, the French freestyler infuses his personality and a pop of color into this classic with a first-ever BMX Wafflecup outsole. This holiday, Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, proudly drops a brand-new Matthias Dandois signature colorway in the Old Skool Pro BMX. The global team rider and seven-time world freestyle champion’s shoe-of-choice represents an upgraded Vans classic, enhanced for BMX-specific performance with a first-of-its-kind Wafflecup outsole meant to increase support and pedal feel.
The Matthias Dandois signature colorway adds a playful-yet-purposeful pop of color among an otherwise sea of black. Infusing his personality into the shoe, Matthias has added his custom “Dent-Doigt” (pronounced “daen-dwah,” like his namesake) heel graphic, which translates to “tooth-finger” in English.
A visual depiction comes to life on the custom UltraCush insole, all developed by Matthias’ tattoo artist and friend, who inked the rider’s original inspiration for the graphic: a tattoo on his right forearm.
Vans UltraCush HD sockliner delivers the highest level of impact cushioning, keeping the foot close to the pedal without packing out over time. The shoe is built with Vans Wafflecup BMX sole, the sport’s first-ever vulcanized cupsole, specifically designed to improve support without sacrificing grip and pedal-feel. The Old Skool Pro BMX is complete with Duracap, reinforcing high abrasion zones and prolonging

USA Cycling published the first three stories on their newly launched storytelling platform, In Our Own Words. The platform was created to give USA Cycling members a place to share their experiences, passions and interests in their own words – a space to talk about the things that are important to them. It is envisioned that stories will cover a range of topics including such things as mental health, diversity, inclusion, clean sport, overcoming adversity, SafeSport and more.
"In Our Own Words is aimed at giving our members a way to speak candidly about issues that are important to them so that we can start having critical conversations and addressing common issues within our community," said Kelsey Erickson, SafeSport Director for USA Cycling, "We are excited to provide a space for members to share their experiences and we hope that this platform will evolve into place where our members can feel heard, recognized, supported and able to engage in productive dialogue on the important issues raised."
The first set of articles feature the voices of some familiar faces in American Cycling, including Phil Gaimon and Katie Compton, as well as a contribution from an anonymous member, with topics ranging from Depression and Overcoming Injuries to defending the sanctity of cycling and its athletes through reporting SafeSport violations.
"Our members need to know that we support them on and off the bike," said Rob DeMartini, President
