Riding and Rising - a day I'm very proud of! With lots of help I'm proud to have hosted an event that, through Bmx, developed leadership qualities, community and self development tools both on and off the bike with an excellent group of individuals in the UK Bmx scene.
The UK Bmx contest series, Backyard Jam, hosted one of their stops at a top secret facility that holds the replica of the Paris 2024 Olympic course.
Charlotte Worthington New Bike Build!
Olympic BMX champion Charlotte Worthington attends a concert by one of her favourite bands, The Vamps. She hangs out backstage with them and shows off her guitar-playing skills.
Olympic gold medalist Charlotte Worthington has her mind set on the next Summer Olympics hosted by Paris in 2024. The 25-year-old biker spoke to the press at I Am Team GB’s Festival of Sport event, held at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park a couple of weeks ago. Worthington impressed fans and Vwin88 punters alike with her dramatic recovery at the Tokyo Olympics after falling in her first run, especially with her 360-degree backflip that ultimately won her the gold.
Definitely looking at Paris
“I am definitely looking at Paris,” Worthington told the press at the event. “I know how much hard work it took to get to Tokyo, so I am really looking forward to getting stuck into what will be even more hard work. In the short term, I will be taking a little break. In the long-term, I am going to get back on the BMX and aim for qualifying and competing at the next Games.” -
Charlotte Worthington
25-year-old Charlotte Worthington hailing from Manchester, England, is a newcomer in the scene - she took up BMX rather late, at the age of 20. When Freestyle BMX was added to the Olympic lineup in 2017, she was working full-time at a Mexican restaurant. She was later accepted into the Great Britain Cycling Team and has proven that her addition was a great choice: she won her first British and European titles in 2019 and became the first British woman to win a world medal in the discipline (bronze at the UCI
When Charlotte Worthington first made it on the BMX scene she was refered to as that scooter girl. That changed quickly because she made quick steps on the BMX bike and got picked up by TallOrder because they saw the talent in her. Charlotte is now a member of Team Great Britain and rides for Hyper and has the Olympics on her mind. Under the guidance of Jamie Bestwick and riding with the British team members, Charlotte is making huge steps. The 2019 UEC European Champion answered some questions for us. It's obvious she wants this pandemic to be over TODAY so she can get back to riding Corby and travel the world because of BMX.

I spend time with Charlotte and discuss everything going on in her life.
I was lucky enough to be sent to Woodward East for a couple of weeks this summer! I filmed these clips pretty quick time and wanted to film some more bangers on my return to Woodward but unfortunately took a nasty crash and was unable to ride for the rest of my trip... so I hope you enjoy what I got!
Big BMX contests, Big tricks and a big couple of weeks finishes with a Big result!
