"PEAKED" Common Crew & Friends BMX Street (2024) by COMMON CREW
Been a year since I’ve uploaded a Edventures episode. But better late then never here’s episode #11 this one got all sorts of shit from getting drunk and watching crazy shit go down at 2019 battle of Hastings to flying over to France Lyon for bro’s bike shop street staying jam.
Ed and the boys made their way down to swamp fest to party their faces off, ride in monster trucks and try their best to get injured. Denim actually won the damn thing and was awarded a free trip to England for Battle of Hastings courtesy of Source BMX! Big thanks to Trey Jones for putting on the event of the decade and Cult Crew for flying our boy out to capture the mayhem!
We're back with another Ed update. This time the crew travels to Estonia for Simple Session where Denim gets an astonishing 47th place and Augie single handedly loses the traditional Skater VS BMX hockey game.
Here's what Ed's been up to for the past few months.. highlights include savage duels between Sauce and an entire home, including the front yard, as well as Ethan VS Jacob, Crankflipper VS Preston Okert and Lewis Mills VS Baby Sauce. After that we get into the Vans invitational, Liquor store locals ditch jam (where we almost exclusively rode dirt bikes), Disco Stew video premiere and finally the always insane Battle Of Hastings contest.
The Iceman stacked clips all over the Southwest in 2017 and 2018. We threw out the net, gathered them all up and threw together this awesome video part!
Unfortunately Alec's song is blocked worldwide on YouTube, we tried everything imaginable to get it by YT's copyright policy but nothing worked. If you want the full effect as seen in the DVD and insist on watching it on YouTube the song is "I Ran" by A Flock Of Seagulls and it starts at 1:00 when he lands the switch whip down the 11 stair. Alec (nose whip kid as we referred to him back then) was a late recruit to the squad and video alike, joining sometime in 2014 shortly after we met him. The original plan was for him and Francis to work on a web edit but everyone took such a liking to him that we quickly tossed that out the window and asked if he wanted to work on a full section for the DVD. He got a late start but you would never guess it, coming through with one of the most ridiculous, progressive video parts in recent memory and picking up sponsors Sunday and OSS in the process.
We met Denim about a year after we started filming for Monster Mash in 2012 when he moved to Huntington Beach from Tucson, AZ. After riding with him for a few months we knew he absolutely needed to be apart of the video and brought him on board. Denim had never even filmed an edit, let alone a DVD section but in our eyes it was pretty apparent he would probably end up with last part. He ran through about three sets of teeth, 1,800 tubes and a wrist or two filming for this but didn't let it slow him down one bit and stacked almost seven minutes of footage. His clips are crazy but his process is crazier, with a motto like "don't think just go" it's easy to see how he ended up with a part this good and one of the best sponsors in the game, BSD. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow for the credits (or Alec's part if we can get things worked out)!
Alec's part was set to drop today but due to copyright issues with his song, we're just going to have to upload these a little out of order. Actual description: Back in 2011 when this all started Julian was a swag-less, barspinning, three peg riding young man trying to get through his freshman year of high school. It was during this video that he became the ambidextrous perfectionist that we know and love today. Somewhere along the way Sunday and Eclat took notice and added him to their teams.
A friends section is an absolute must in ANY BMX video. You can catch all of the extended family in this joint. Enjoy and tune in tomorrow for Alec Siemon's part! Featuring: Seth Rodriguez, Devon Smillie, Stevie Churchill, Eddie Cuellar, Trevor Sigloch, Mark Burnett, Francis Castro, Noah Caprio, Diamante Hughes, Scott Marceau, Josh Barker, Chris Eiland, Chad Bennett, Genesis Apostol, Kaique Machado, Grant Germain, Bobby Holland, David Pendleton, Kordel Caro, Adam22, Jamie Amundson, Jared Duncan, Beau Harmon, Billy Perry, Lewis Mills, Justin Spriet, Austin Augie, Justin Schual, Dylan Moore, Tak Kamihagi, Reed Stark, Brandon Begin, Travis Hughes, Johnny Raekes and Sauce.
