Garrett is one of those guys who we at DIG have long considered to be a true BMX legend and someone whose inspiration continues to operate at a different level than what is perceived as the norm. In fact, riders like Garrett and his ilk are the motivational backbone of our near 25 year existence as a BMX media outlet. This film is simply our way of showing respect for that inspiration and continued motivation.

DIG BMX - In the Cut: Territores # 1 - China. Back in October of 2016 we started a new DIG travel project. For the first one we teamed up with official partner brands WETHEPEOPLE BMX and Eclat BMX and selected two riders from each brand to accompany us to a city none of us had ever been to or even knew about. Ningbo is about 2.5 hours south of Shanghai in China and had more than enough good spots and interesting locals to make for an epic trip.

If you're unaware of Thomas Hooper, he is one of the world's most sought after tattoo artists who grew up in the legendary UK BMX hotspot, Hastings and now years on has reignited his passion for riding a 20" bike. Seriously cool stuff.
