"Me and Colton decided to attempt a drop the pin in Tucson knowing that we would most likely drop in some dirt, but we ended up getting lucky and made the best of what we could find in the area!” - Dalton Voss
Another Drop The Pin for your viewing pleasure. Young Kole Voelker hit the streets just outside of La Mesa and barely made it a single block without clocking a clip, filling out four solid minutes for ya.
We met up with Eighties' Chris Ambrose, Nahuel Nieto, Chaz Klein, and the man behind Eighties himself, Pablo Cano, outside downtown Los Angeles and we decided to drop the pin. Without bothering to check out the area the pin landed on, we jumped in our whips and headed over there.
Mike Gray was in town for a few days, so we organized a little DTP session for you guys with the Haro squad. Mike, Chad Kerley, Blake Peters (who was fresh off a broken wrist) and newcomer to the Haro team, Austyn Mcintosh, all dropped the pin in a bit of an industrial area in the middle of SD.
While Erik Elstan and Jeff Dowhen where in Long Beach working on the new Madera video they had a free day so we dropped the pin and hit the streets. We landed on an industrial area in Carson, where Madera team mates Mike Stahl and Tom Villarreal eventually met up with us and we rode a lot of cool stuff and ran into some interesting situations along the way.
Gaspar Guendulain is from Argentina, where even the rough spots are few and far between. Needless to say, he had a field day during his recent stay in LA. In between filming for the 1998 Project and Eighties Bike Co., we got him out to Long Beach for a day along with Eighties' Pablo Cano and LA local Baltazar Duarte and we dropped the pin.
For the first time ever, the pin drop totally sucked. So, after we drove out to a rural neighborhood, we re-dropped the pin, found some spots, found ourselves in the middle of a swat situation, and then rode another spot. Albert killed it! Shouts to Demarcus Paul and Tom Perry for the guest clips, too.
I guess this is what happens when you let a scooter kid choose where you're riding? Gary and I were just cruising the local shralp pool when we decided the day called for a pin drop...
Blindly drop a pin on your phone and see what you can find... Kink's Nathan Williams dropped the pin and we headed down the freeway to cruise. Found a couple of bump jumps, a rooster, and pedaled through too many neighborhoods along the way... We cut this one a bit short as Nathan had to head off to get a clip for his section with Christian Rigal. But still a damn good day overall.
We drop a pin with WeThePeople Pros Jordan Godwin and Dan Kruk and end up in the city of Paramount. The dudes quickly locate a ton of stuff to ride including a mellow rail that gets SHUT DOWN! Dropping a random pin on your phone to decide where to ride for the day usually ends up leading to a pretty awesome time.
