Watch all the action from the 2017 NItro World Games. This year's competition saw the world's top athletes pull out all the stops for an action packed evening full of wild attempts and World's Firsts. Nitro World Games 2017 took place at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, UT on June 24th.
Qualifying for Nitro World Games 2017 was four days of intense action in FMX, BMX, skate, and scooter, and at the end of the week we were left with the tough task of identifying the 10 best moments from all the action. We had Beaver Fleming, Skate qualifier and entry on this list, take us through all the action.
Almost 30 competitors came out to try to qualify for the 2017 Nitro World Games BMX Triple Hit event, and only eight would make it. The large field consisted of many household names in BMX dirt and park, and the competition for the semifinal slots was fierce. Despite this being a qualifier, to move on each of the eight had to send championship-caliber runs to stay on the leaderboard. Today is Nick Bruce's birthday, and as a gift to himself he rode flawlessly, finishing at the top of the pack. The other seven riders headed to the Triple Hit semis are Irek Rizaev, Kenneth Tencio, Daniel Sandoval, Colton Satterfield, Dawid Godziek, Marcus Christopher, and Andy Buckworth.
