Elite titles for Shriever and Mahieu as UCI Cycling World Championships come to a close. With 3000 of the 8000 athletes participating at the biggest cycling event of the world in Scotland, BMX Racing provided a big piece of the cake at the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships. Located just outside of downtown Glasgow, the BMX center provided great racing in all challenge classes before the race moved into the championship classes the weekend of 11-13 August 2023.
With packed grandstands and a smooth BMX Race track, the Elite Men title contenders made it through the first round and the 1/8 finals with Joris Daudet (FRA), Niek Kimmann (NED), Kye Whyte (GBR),

Round 7&8 the first weekend with round 9&10 the second weekend made for a long trip in Argentina. My season hadn't been the best, so with 4 races here, it was a good way to try to finish on a high.
2023 UCI BMX Racing World Cup overall winners celebrate in SDE. Keeping focused all year isn’t an easy task. With so many races on the calendar you would have to pick and choose to make sure you’re at your peak at the bigger races of the year. With 4 UCI BMX Racing World Cup races happening in Santiago del Estero, with plenty of UCI ranking points on the line, the A-game needed to be on point for the two weekends of racing in Argentina. With rounds 7 & 8 in the pocket, the athletes and coaches had 4 days to reflect and plan for Friday’s UCI World Cup.
