It makes me happy whenever a new BMX magazine arrives. The latest BMX Rider magazine included. It's always nice to see your own photo and or article in it and this time I was stoked to see the photo of Michel Dijstelblom on page 18. Michel is a local here in Helmond and isn't necessarily traveling worldwide to BMX events because he simply doesn't have the funds. He does ride a lot though and on this particular day we met up at the new Central Station and then visited this weird statue which ended up getting a full page in the new issue of BMX Rider. But of course there's lot more, and every picture in it tells a thousand words. That's a lot of text right there.
Number 13 of BMX RIDER marks the special CONTEST ISSUE: -BMX Cologne -Highway to Hill
The latest issue of FreedomBMX must have been laying on that doormat for a few weeks. Inside are contest announcements of events that have happened by now. At 100 pages it's one of the thickest BMX magazines in existence right now and it's full of BMX content. The mag is wrapped with 1 1/2 pages of BMX stickers that are included in the price of the mag (€ 3,60 in Germany). If you missed out on it, just like us, here's what you can find in issue 119.
freedombmx 119 contents list: -“Already been done” -My Block: Stuttgart -Springbreak München -Tim Güntner Interview -Contests – To Win or Chill? -Felix Prangenberg turns 16 -Monster x Dub The Street Series Berlin
When I was over at FOX I got to pick out a product. I had my eyes set on the camouflage backpack that I spotted as soon as I got inside the cool building. The backpack has some very cool compartments. It fits the iPad and a laptop and has a smaller section for pens and stuff. I think I'm going to use it for school but I'm afraid someone will steal it. Camouflage is my colour at the moment and the Fox Let's Ride 3 Backpack has a cool pattern. Here is some more information on the FOX backpack.
At the US Open of Surfing we picked up a copy of Transworld's RIDE BMX magazine. It had the Vans Chile trip on the cover. It had been a while since I actually had a copy of RIDE in my hands so I made sure I took one for future reading pleasure. Then the next day another copy of RIDE was distributed with Nigel Sylvester on the cover. It read September 2014 so it was the latest one. Well, here's what's inside that issue. Now go find a copy yourself.
