On the 22nd July the streets of Joburg saw the awesome turnout for BMX day 2017. This is the day dudes all over the planet take their kids bikes to the streets of their cities and cruise around hitting the spots they know of and take the opportunity to find some new ones.

Ride for Ray 2017 was the second annual event in commemoration of Ray Malinga, one of the fallen heroes of the South African bmx scene. Last year the event was held in the streets of Joburg and this year it was held at The Hartebeespoort Holiday resort. People from all over the country came through to enjoy a chilled day with some great riding and a reminder of what the bmx family means to everyone who is a part of it.
