STILL UNITED - Team Mix 2. "We've got another online premiere of the epic 'Still United' DVD - this time it's just under four minutes of footage from United bossman Ian Morris, along with Jimmy Rushmore, Dan Boiski and Jack Birtles. There's not many 40+ year old BMX company owners still smashing out massive rails and bomb dropping into street setups, but Ian Morris can't stop himself! Expect mach-10 clips from Nana Rushmore, effortless rail manoeuvres from London's mental spot map guide Dan Boiski and some loose ol' shredding from Jack Birtles down-under. You can't beat a bit of Killing Joke either! You've got to love a good team section, and this second one from STILL UNITED ain't no normal mix! "
STILL UNITED 2016 "Our penultimate online premiere of the insanely good 'Still United' just went live and this time it's DVD cover boy Alex Valentino. Alex's level of determination for his section was admiring to see - just one example of this is his first clip when he shreds all the skin off his palms. Well, 48 hours later he was 180 barspinning the 'El Cap' statue with his hands all bandaged up - now that's how you do it. Enjoy Alex Valentino's best from two years of filming, all tied up like a charm via the mind of Peter Adam. And that ender too, don't miss it! "
Nathan Williams - 'Still United' Full Part. Well, here it is folks, the final section from the instant classic that is the 'Still United' DVD and it's none other than ultimate savage, Nathan Williams. Nathan's ability to take horrible slams like a trooper is unbelievable and his attitude and level of focus to getting the clips he wants is gold. If you're a security guard getting in the way of what he wants to do on his bike, he'll make you feel invisible. Enjoy the next 7+ minutes of breathtaking bike riding with one hell of a soundtrack - Nathan Williams is genuinely one of our best to ever do it, both on and off the bike. We salute you!
Corey Martinez has been at the top of the game for ever now. It almost seems like he's been using a cryogenic freezing process to allow him to keep putting out bonkers DVD sections time and time again. For his 'Still United' part he decided to mix things up and go away from the classic rock song format that he's been used to (his intro will remind you of those old tunes and just how many bangers there have been) and straight up party on his bike with some Three 6 Mafia - we think it works a treat. Has anyone else put out this level and number of sections over such a long time?
A DIG Magazine caption once read, 'watching Geoff Slattery makes my eyes watery!', and how right it was. His section in 'This Is United' back in 2010 opened up with a massive bang (quite literally) and he then went on to grace our eyes with fast, creative and often downright scary riding. Well time goes on but nothing much changes when it comes to Geoff's honors degree in bike control as you can now witness for yourself via this 48 hour online premiere of his new 'Still United' section. Enjoy the next five minutes and have those hankies ready. Incidentally, has anyone else noticed that Slattery is an anagram for the words 'art' and 'style'...
When you film for a full length DVD like 'Still United' it's key to push the boat out and really make it count. Well Christian Rigal didn't do just that, instead he blasted the boat down some fucking epic handrails at mach 10. It's no secret the man like to grind but jeez, this really is something. From terrifying backwards rollercoasters, 30+ set peg grinds, and monster curved rails, this has all burly areas of modern day street riding more than covered. The man has definitely got a screw loose.
The Jersey Boy! We’ve been fans of this guy for years ever since he blessed the pages of DIG Magazine with his all black bike setup and East Coast chiller style. Watching Jeff Kocsis build his Still United section piece by piece was a pleasure and I’m sure you’ll agree he makes everything he does look just so. And you can’t beat that level of jive talk with many people - he’s your man for a hilarious time on the road.
Alex Valentino is a bad ass human being. It was awesome to watch him go in so hard for his Still United section (especially barspinning the Barca wedge with severe meat paw) and all with that classic French vavavoom. Enjoy his extra clips and behind-the-scenes in the latest episode of the Still United Files.
It's never anything but good times shooting with Tnez and we had a hell load of fun with him on Still United. Needless to say, his section was out of hand so it's no surprise that he's got some top class extras for his Still United Files.
We are huge fans of Still United at DIG so we're real psyched on this series of raw bonus, unseen and behind-the-scenes footage from the DVD. We'll have one of these dropping every Wednesday through February and March so keep your eyes peeled. First up is none other than New Jersey OG Jeff Kocsis. Gotta love that style!
