Brian Kachinsky meet up with his new French GT teammate Sullyvan Guaincêtre for a four day street mission in the city of Lyon. The spots looked amazing and Brian came through with his burly go for it style and he had some wild looking crashes—but thankfully he escaped any major injuries—and Sullyvan delivered with his super smooth tech style. Seeing their contrasting styles in the same video is pretty sick.
GT adds French shredder Sullyvan Guaincêtre to their roster. Johan Poyet, Freestyle Team Manager at Frenchys-Distribution, is pretty stoked on Sully’s move to GT Bicycles: "Sully fits greatly with GT BMX: he takes his riding seriously but keeps a huge part for the fun which matches very well with GT philosophy, fun is serious business. Sully surprised everybody with his edit during Sosh Urban Motion 4. He now lives in Montpellier, and his riding keeps on evolving . It is always a great pleasure to witness his creativity expressed through his tech and original lines."
Sullyvan Guaincêtre got himself a name in 2015 during the SOSH Urban Motion when he placed 2nd in the competition against riders like Maxime Charveron, Dennis Enarson and Simone Baracco. Since then he’s confirmed his talent and is now considered as one of the best BMX Street Riders in Europe. Sully has been riding for Frenchys-Distribution since 2015, has been riding French contests for 3 years and is now renowned for his tech riding style.
His personality and riding got the attention of GT Bicycles. The US Brand has been focusing again on BMX Street riding for a few seasons now and is very involved with a team of key riders like Brian Kachinsky, Dan Conway, Rob Wise, Albert Mercado...
