The Vans BMX Pro Cup Series, the world’s definitive platform for elite BMX park terrain competition, announces the official pro tour dates and locations for the 2019 season. Now in its third year, the celebrated BMX competition series for men and women will take place in Singapore, Australia, Germany, Mexico, and the United States, and will continue to support emerging BMX communities with national and regional qualifiers open for registration.
Featuring a top-ranking competitive field of invited pro BMX riders and Wildcards including star athletes Larry Edgar and Teresa Azcoaga (reigning 2018 champions), seasoned podium veteran Dennis Enarson, and rising stars Alex Hiam and Angie Marino, the Vans BMX Pro Cup World Tour will showcase the highest-ranking BMX competitors as they seize their chance to compete on the world stage for the ultimate honors in BMX.
The Vans BMX Pro Cup Series is excited to land in three new locations and three new parks in Germany, Mexico and Huntington Beach for the 2019 Pro Tour, in addition to hosting Nationals events in Singapore and the United States. Both the nationals and regional qualifiers events aim to secure a diverse pool of talented BMX riders from around the world. All Pro Cup contenders will have the opportunity to earn regional placings in the race to the Vans BMX Pro Cup World Championships, to be held in Huntington Beach, CA, United States.

The 2018 Vans BMX Pro Cup Series celebrated a monumental finish as the series crowned Larry Edgar and Teresa Azcoaga the 2018 world champions of BMX park terrain in Málaga, Spain. Defending Vans BMX Pro Cup World Champion Larry Edgar demonstrated some of the best BMX riding the world has ever seen with colossal airs and technical tricks to earn back-to-back Pro Cup World Championship title wins. Spanish native Teresa Azcoaga upheld her series lead to earn the first-ever women’s BMX park terrain championship title, cementing a historic moment for the BMX community.
Edgar remarked with pride, “The level of riding across all stops this year has been incredible, so to be the overall winner is truly special.”
Debuting in Sydney, Australia on February 24-March 5, the inaugural Vans BMX Pro Cup Series welcomes the most talented BMX riders to the shores of Manly Beach for a premier showcase of BMX competition held in conjunction with the celebrated Australian Open of Surfing.
