This week Woodward, the global leader in action sports experiences, celebrated the 20th anniversary of Woodward West – the second oldest Woodward location second only to Woodward Pennsylvania and located just two hours from Los Angeles – by debuting the largest number of new facilities at the property since its original opening in 2003 including a full renovation of its iconic Poco Loco skatepark and a brand new Progression Centre. Woodward leadership and staff as well as VIP athletes, partners, friends and local dignitaries joined 211 campers attending Week 6 of camp on July 10 for a ribbon cutting, visiting pro demo in the new parks, inflatable water slide and then culminating into a birthday party.

This year we had the opportunity to hold a second Bloom Week at Woodward West. It was our first inaugural Bloom Week West which was also happening during Girls Week.

The team got together for a nonstop summer trip in one week. Their first stop, The Secret shop stop, and from there, the guys went to the local skatepark with the locals. The third stop on the trip they went to Woodward West for the rest of the week to shred with the campers and film some hammers.

Woodward West Girls Week 2019! Exactly a year ago this week, we were all at Woodward West for Girls Week! I filmed so much through out the week and finally put it all together.

Woodward West was kind enough to offer us another week at camp, so we managed to round everyone up for our annual family reunion. We did a lot of bike riding and spent almost as much time in the gym hurting ourselves on trampolines. We also formed a band and played Free Bird for the talent show. Huge thank you to Jake Kinney and Dustin Orem for making this all happen and for all the campers for hanging out and riding with us.

Imagine being a camper at Woodward and have the Hyper team show up. Ryan Williams, Logan Martin, Brandon Loupos, James Foster... Literally some of the greatest ramp riders in the world—and with a heavy collection of X Games medals between the lot of them. Kids from around the country made the trip out to Woodward West in Tehachapi, California to compete in the Hot Wheels Junior Open. An open skateboard and BMX contest for kids 16 and under, where all ability levels are welcome!
