Way back in summer of 2021 we connected with the powers that be in Glasgow City (DIG’s adopted hometown since 2005) to see if they wanted to get on board with our planned 2023 ’30 years of DIG’ project. By chance it coincided with Glasgow’s support of the 2023 World Cycling Championships, so they were instantly down and keen to get involved.
Believe it or not, we've been doing this thing called DIG for over 30 years now and we thought it was about time to celebrate. Along with our good friends and Glasgow neighbours, BSD and The Loading Bay, we got together 30 years of our favourite DIG photos and articles along with hundreds of DIG tattoos for a one off exhibition in our hometown.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
