The jumps are massive, they're kind of spread too far apart, and there's still some headwind causing problems, but 15 riders definitely went in to make it into the finals. For those about to go buck in the comments, this was a bit of a last minute event thrown alongside the Moto GP in the UK, so just appreciate the fact that there's something in the works.
Found myself in the UK last week for a one-off (maybe?) of the BMX Triple Challenge event. Literally landed in London, drove to the event, and then the crew decided the wind was too heavy and we drove to Corby, England, to Adrenaline Alley for a session that was, as you'd expect, not your average session. The wind persisted the following day and most people were pretty stressed about jumping a 30 foot double for the first time with a 20mph headwind, but surprisingly, a decent amount of riding went down.
