Kenzo and Vans are pleased to announce a series of new collections for this summer. There will be three installments to hit stores in May, June and July. For the first assortment of styles, Kenzo's vibrant colors and net prints from the Spring Summer 2012 season will be featured on Vans’ original skate shoe, the Era. The first assortment includes seven colorways available for men and women that feature the bright blue, white, green and red colors seen on the Kenzo Spring 2012 runway.

Vans and Shadow Conspiracy Anticipate Exclusive Dan’s Comp Release with Ultimate Giveaway Contest Giveaways include Trip to Shadow x Vans Demo in Indiana, Dan’s Comp Shopping Spree and an exclusive set of Shadow x Vans Collaboration. Vans has teamed up with one of our favorite BMX brands in Shadow Conspiracy and BMX destination Dan’s Comp to give you a chance to win the ultimate giveaway contest featuring an all-expenses paid trip to a Vans and Shadow Conspiracy team demo, a Dan’s comp shopping spree and the exclusive Vans x Shadow shoe and clothing set coming this August. In celebration of Shadow Conspiracy’s 10th anniversary, the contest highlights the brand’s storied decade in BMX including our third partnership together.

The energy drink producer Monster Energy will be presenting sponsor of the BMX Worlds 2012, which will take place July 13-15 at the Cologne Jugendpark. Monster Energy has long been involved with sports – whether skateboarding, snowboarding or BMX, Monster Energy supports events worldwide, in addition to the BMX Worlds. Monster Energy is not only appearing at the World Championship competitions in Cologne as a provider of energy drinks to more than 400 pros and amateurs and the countless fans in attendance. 

After 5 great years, I am sad to say I'm leaving Diamondback. I've had the best time with the Company and with my former teammates. I want to especially thank Trevor Knesal, who signed me on to the Pro Team when I was only 11, and sent me on the best trips and to the biggest contests around the world. However, a great opportunity has come up for me outside of DB and I will keep you guys updated when it is final. Thanks again to everyone at Diamondback.

Product news from Savakas: This Summer sees the introduction of our collaboration shirt with Austin Psych rockers The Black Angels, the abstract work of Pinky Vision for Savakas, and The Albion‘s Daniel Benson series, including a depiction of the London Riots, with an opposing image of Eddie Cleveland in Hollywood. We are also happy to introduce CF Tunnicliffe for Savakas, the illustrator from early editions of ‘The Old Man And The Sea‘ - by Ernest Hemingway.

Forcefield Body Armour is stepping into the cycling scene and have Chris Smith testing out their product at the minute. Telling from the product picture, the pads look like they could work for BMX. In fact, they've got a whole line of protection gear that plenty of speedway, motorcycle racers, snowboarders and stuntmen use so why not BMX. Urban Kreation have put in a large amount of detail to create one of the highest spec gloves on the market, and after intensive research, they hope they have managed to tick all boxes for everyone. Urban Kreation found that the biggest complaints from people were the heat whilst wearing the glove, the stitching splitting around the fingers, and the fact riders only seem to like a glove that is super thin.
