It was bound to happen sooner or later. DIGBMX have finally got a new website up and running. Don't expect all sorts of comps for free products or a message board where you can spout off about who you think is better than your friends at riding though. The newly revamped Dig website is basically an extension of the magazine. It's a dope ass high fashion tattoo lifestyle magazine, cool shots, here R a few, it's crazie cause I have never been N a tattoo mag B4, tha mag is another way 2 expand what I do which is 2 also promote tha lifestyle of action sports N every way.

Sophisticated Rider # 3 contents a good article on amateurs in Skate, Bmx and Fmx sport and how it is with the pros and how to succeed.

Also there is a pro model shoe report, gallery pics, interviews with e.g.  Jim Burgess (UPS employee of the month), and a nice report on Bob Kohl´s first Moto-X backflip in 1992!!

I have to say for a cross-over magazine with Bmx, Skateboarding and Fmx it´s a good peace of work Jared Souney and John Parker published.

For the second year in a row Josh Harrington won one of the biggest contests on earth; the Metro Jam. With over 90 pros entering the contest it's hard to make the finals. Winning the Toronto Metro stop two years in a row has never been done before so Josh must be stoked. Dave Mirra decided to stop by for the first time and got second, living up to his reputation of finishing high at major contests. San Diego's Gary Young placed third.

The little one woke up at 6am on Sunday morning. It didn't really matter as I needed to get up anyway. The Open Dutch MX championships were on the program for the day and I planned on leaving at 9am. Right then it started to snow. Hard! I decided to enjoy the warm living room for a bit longer before I got in the car to drive to Gemert.  It got real white within 15 minutes and I checked the internet to see if there were any posts up on the event. I coulnd't find anything so it was off to the track. 15 minutes later I arrived and the sun was out. Nice. It was cold but I was prepared and wore a lot of clothes. I checked in with the Universal MX riders ([url=http://www.mxjarno.com]Jarno Verhorevoort[/url] and new rider [url=http://www.johancarlsson.com/]Johan Carlsson[/url] from Sweden) before I made it to the track to shoot some pics in practice. The racing in both MX1 and MX2  classes was intense and here's the little report I wrote for Monday's Kickstart.
