Donny Robinson – Elite / AA Pro - dR is coming off his best year to date, adding his first Pro title - NBL National #1 Elite Cruiser - to his long list of accomplishments.  Plus, with finishing National #3 Elite/AA Pro in both sanctions and UCI World #7, Donny has set himself up for another great year.  Look for Donny’s Formula Pro and Formula Pro Cruiser at the top of many podiums in ’06.

“Chad will handle any tests that we are doing on smaller bikes and components," stated BMX World’s Greg Leasure. “Chad is known for his crazy skills and ultra smooth style, so he’s a perfect fit for testing out equipment and giving a trustworthy opinion.” Kerley, the only little guy on the Formula Factory Team, was stoked to hear the news. “Chad has worked and trained hard the last couple of years and it’s great that things are starting to pay off for him. He’s real excited and honored to be given this opportunity. He’s really taking this seriously,” stated Chad’s dad, Randy Kerley. Kerley stepped it up in 2005, winning a string of big races that culminated in his first NAG #1 title.

BMX World has turned some heads lately, giving the BMX world a full color magazine almost entirely devoted to racing.

North America’s largest Pro/Am freestyle contest series returns to the Ricoh Coliseum for our third year. Leave it up to the Fly Bikes crew to come up with a new Recyclable cardboard DVD case. The Spanish company just finished their first team video called UNO which starts off with some amateur acting from the team riders calling each other for a session. With the help of some pallets and some Spanish music the first part is already a way for them to show that anyone can build something to ride if you use your imagination. The mobile Skatepark (the pallets) is then burnt on the beach.

Jeffrey Bignell is a former BMX rider who won a title or two. After his BMX "career"' he got into freestyle skiing. He made it to the Dutch team, won a few titles left and right but felt like he needed some more facilities to practice. One way to do this is to go lake jumping. But you need a ramp for that. Telling from the photo, the ramp is in the works. The location is De IJzeren Man in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. With Jeffrey's BMX background it is good to hear that BMX bikes can use the ramp as well. Two other lines are reserved for snowboarders and freestyle skiers.

A heated indoor dirt spot at this time of the year is a dream for most dirt jumpers out there. Last weekend a pre-opening took place at the AbFlug Halle in Grevenbroich, Germany. Yup there are dirt jumps inside and pretty damn good ones. Benny Paulsen (one of the Red Bull Backyard diggers and co-builder of the Masters jumps) and friends got to work at the 1800 square meter Dirt-Halle. The 70 meter by 25 meter hall has 2 Big lines, 2 medium lines, 1 small line and 1 XS line. The roof is 14 meters high so Vic Murphy and Timo Pritzel are welcome too.

The street course this year was different and had good stuff but it did not always line up right. With over 60 riders in street, it was hard also to practice the lines during warm up. Nevertheless, with top riders around from Australia, the USA and Europe (and that includes the UK you Brits) it was a good scene. Making the final was good and bad. The good part was that you got to ride the course again with only a few riders and that you had a shot at the top 8 prize money. The bad part was that you had to hold back, at least a little, during Saturday night's partying. With the BMX street finals on the program for 17:30pm on Sunday most finalists did get enough sleep in the end.
