BMX Race Ljubljana kicked-off the Dr. Auer BMX Alpe-Adria series, the most important competition for many young riders from Slovenia & neighboring countries. Sunday’s event also had a UCI C1 status, which gave the race even stronger international appeal. Strongest race of the week was won by German Philip Schaub. The weekend of racing at BMX Park Ljubljana, preceded on Friday by the fun-filled Argeta Junior KoloPark Pokal pump track event, attracted riders from Austria, Italy, Hungary, Germany & Slovakia, as well as the entire Slovenian BMX scene. The main motive for the riders in the Championships category was of course the UCI points, which count towards the qualification

Jordan Aleppo - BMX - El Gringo
Name: Scott Towne
Hometown: Otsego, Michigan, USA.
Started riding BMX in: 1977
Number of bikes in the collection: More than I need, less than I want. I don’t consider myself a “collector”. I’m a lifer. Old BMX bikes are something I have because they are part of my story. I could give a presentation on each bike that I have and why it means something to me. In fact, I just might start doing that. “It’s all in the presentation” after all.

VISUALS photo show went down last Saturday... Shouts to everyone that made it out... we had a great turn out... It was fucking awesome to see so many people come together and support each other... photos, vendors, tattoos, screen printing, air brushing, pizza, burgers, ramps, videos and overall good times... the end of the night ended with a BANG when Preston Okert turned PRO... we gotta do this again sometime...
The first pic I ever saw of some over tweaking something was Todd Anderson, who at that point in time-1985-was riding for Redline. I picked up a magazine in a mock 711 next to Faze 7 BMX centre in Waltham Cross, Todd was cranking a twisted lookback with his feet on the cranks arms, and his front wheel hitting his shin, I'd never seen this before, until that point a pic of a look back was anything with bars passed 90 degrees and the back end high.
