Being "from the media" has its ups from time to time. Yesterday we visited the rolling Oakley lab and got a tour inside the lab where they explained the quality of the Oakley glasses. I've worn Oakley's since day one and I have always been a fan. I had heard Jay Miron rave about this "Lab demo" years ago when Johnny O'Mara did it over in the USA. XYZ vision, I know what it stands for now. Oakley goes out of its way to make quality product and the standards to pass a test
A completely sold-out venue, a 40.000 Dollar purse, 27 international BMX and MTB top riders and a whole lot of punk rock: That's the resumée of the T-Mobile Playgrounds 2010 in Duisburg. BMX World Champion Anthony Napolitan's breathtaking first run in the finals secured his win. In between competition rounds, the crowd was able to release the built up energy during live shows by Sum 41 and AFI. The grand finale came with punkrock-institution Bad Religion. It couldn't have been any better: The kick-off to the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds amazed both 4.200 fans and the organizers. “15 years ago I saw Bad Religion at the Air & Style, which brought me to action sports. Now, they're live on stage at the 10th edition of the T-Mobile Playgrounds. They're celebrating their 30th anniversary this year — the T-Mobile Extreme Playgrounds reaching the same age, that's my wish.” states Lars-Oliver Vogt, CEO of Hamburg based Nice Productions.
