The idea of the Red Bull Dirt Pipe contest is to create the world's first dirt half pipe for BMX, creating a 120m long half pipe, similar to a snowboard half pipe in shape and size, made from dirt. The pipe will have an in-run and be cut into a sloped hill to ensure riders maintain good speed. This will allow riders to concentrate on big, dynamic, tricks, while adding in some kickers to spice the runs up.
We're not done with the Simpel Session reports yet. In fact, we just started as we're bringing you day one of the party life. Paparazzi in full effect here on FATBMX. Pim, Paul and I were looking for a place to eat on the night we arrived and ended up at TGI Friday. Bad choice so soon after we were looking for a few drinks. We walked through the old town in the direction of our annual BMX hangout "Club Hollywood". We knew we would run into people there but it was still early (11pm) so we decided to step into this pub which had some flyers on the door. 
What can you possibly write when you all have seen the live footage of the Simpel Session in Tallinn, Estonia. Even the long qualification rounds were shown live on the internet and it did take a while to get everything finished. Due to a late start (skateboarding ran an hour late) the BMX qualifiers ran till 10pm, exactly an hour behind schedule. This was not a problem for anyone as the riders yet to come were of high caliber. In fact, there was not an easy group and the riders showed great talent.
