The Dubai X-games are on its way. Vert prelims just took place and it was semi-local Simon Tabron who came out on top which will give him a place in the final straight away. The event has a different set-up. The 8 riders that are left will be split up in two groups with the winners of each group going to the finals. Place two and three in each group will go for the final battle for a spot in the final which will have a total of four riders. You're still with me? It sounds more complicated than it actually is. Simon rode very well to nail the first position giving him possibility to sit down tomorow until the finals will start. Steve McCann was after the first position too to make it easier on himself but he got stuck on second place. Jay Eggleston aired high to finish up the top three. 4th went to Koji Kraft, 5th Zack Warden, 6th, Jean-Marie Baertsch, 7th Eduardo Terreros and Jan Valenta got 8th. Dave Brumlow finished on 9th. Fame brings a lot of distractions; cars, girls, gambling, houses, parties, motorcycles but Ryan Guettler knows where he's coming from and understands it's his bike that got him all the above. And it's not that it was just given to him. Ryan works hard at what he does and rolls the dice when he enters contests. It's all or nothing for the Australian which resulted in him pulling the first 1080 on dirt in a competition in 2007. Ryan is far from done. 
Maciek Baginski is livin' in Bialystok, Poland and has been ridin' since 1997. Maciek and his friends started ridin' street, coz 10 years ago they had nothing to ride on besides street spots. Then they built their first dirt jumps. Maciek fills us in on the old and current days in Poland: In this time (1998) one of the local bike shops got a first bmx video in Poland, which was Schwinn "American Muscle". We were been shocked, coz THAT WAS THE first time we saw big jumps, ramps and huge tricks. We were ridin' hard, learning tricks and just having fun - awesome time. 
TR 10 might be the best Transit Race DVD yet. The perspective section with Donny Robinson might be the most revealing interview Transit has done so far. The races included are from Nellis, Albuquerque, ABA Grands, Columbus, Reno, Guthrie, Boulder City, Black Mountain, and Orlando. The crash section has some of the funniest and best crashes yet. You can witness Paulie Lange defy death yet again (hint: waterslide), the AA pros settle the score on the Go Kart track and much more. All the top AA pros were watching it intensely at the Premiere last weekend in Tulsa. Parents remember that Transit Race DVDs make great stocking stuffers and baby sitters.
