Another Historical look back into the archives of UK BMX as it was rebuilding its self from the scraps left from the exit of the masses that lead into the dark days. The year is 1994, the light is starting to appear, we head back to Hastings for the annual Backyard jam, which is now solidified its self as THE BMX event to attend world wide. Visiting riders from the USA and Europe terrorize the dirt, vert and streets of Hastings.

You've been a Schwinn Stingray collector for the past years. What made you switch to actual BMX bikes?
Kurt Stark: I still collect Schwinn Stingrays but I have drastically switched over to BMX because there is a lot of new stuff to learn as well as to collect.
Are you interested in the story behind the bikes that you have in your possession?
Kurt Stark: I am. It is always a treat when you find a original owner bike because you get to hear

In Michigan, I finished with P4 on Day 1 and P8 on Day 2 after a crash in the final. The track made passing tough, but I gave it my all and still had a great weekend! Happy to make two more A-mains and gain some points. Huge thanks to all my supporters and sponsors!
